Prize Wheel
A prize wheel selects what a participant receives, rather than choosing which participant wins. Replace the example rewards with items you can actually provide, check your stock and decide whether each reward can be awarded once or several times. Removal starts enabled here so a selected prize entry disappears after its reveal. The displayed wheel is only a selection aid. It does not distribute rewards, collect shipping information or keep a permanent inventory on your behalf.
Your entries
6 entriesEach die rolls independently. The wheel shows the first die; the result lists every die and the total. Keep the face entries unchanged.
Equal chance for every entry. Repeated labels count as separate entries.
How to use this wheel
- Review the preset entries and replace any labels that do not fit your prize activity.
- Check the displayed entry count, duplicate lines and removal setting before starting.
- Select Spin the wheel, wait for the reveal and read the result in the dialog.
- Copy the result if you need a record, then close the dialog or start another round.
Describe rewards in a way you can honor
Use precise labels such as ‘A5 notebook’ or ‘One bonus turn’ rather than vague promises. If a reward has conditions, communicate those conditions before anyone participates. Avoid putting a high-value item on the wheel simply to make the display exciting when it is unavailable. A clear prize list prevents the reveal from creating an expectation that the organizer cannot meet.
Represent stock and probability deliberately
If you have five identical sticker packs and one notebook, you can add five separate sticker entries and one notebook entry. In equal mode each entry has one chance, so the label Sticker pack is collectively more likely. Alternatively, weighted mode expresses relative chances, but a weight is not an inventory counter. Removing a weighted entry removes the whole line, regardless of its weight.
Track awards outside the wheel
Copy the selected prize into your event record along with the participant identifier you manage separately. The recent-results strip is convenient during a session, but it is not permanent storage and it does not prove fulfillment. If stock changes between sessions, update the entry list before reusing a saved wheel. A saved configuration can contain items you have already given away.
Use a fair explanation at the display
Tell participants whether all rewards have equal chances, whether any labels appear more than once and what happens when an item runs out. Text labels in the winner dialog provide a clearer result than asking someone to infer a prize from a color. For events open to the public, check your own rules and obligations before advertising a promotion.
Frequently asked questions
Does this wheel choose a winner or a prize?
The default setup chooses a prize label. You decide which participant is receiving that spin and manage their eligibility separately. Use the name picker or raffle wheel when the task is to choose a participant instead of a reward.
Can I add several copies of the same reward?
Yes. Repeated lines can represent separate physical units. With removal enabled, one selected line leaves the wheel each time. Clearly explain that repeated labels also increase that reward type’s collective selection chance in equal mode.
Does a weight of five mean five prizes remain?
No. A weight changes probability, not stock. A single weighted line is still one removable entry. If you need five individually removable copies, enter five lines or track stock outside the tool and edit it carefully after each award.
Are rewards delivered automatically?
No. The wheel does not email coupons, ship products or issue payment. You must provide the selected reward and keep a fulfillment record using your own event process. Do not ask participants to enter delivery details into wheel labels.
