Number Wheel
The number wheel chooses a whole number from the entries you provide. Start with 1 to 10, set a different minimum and maximum, or replace the list with a custom set such as 5, 10, 15 and 20. Use it for a game move, a numbered prompt, a practice exercise or a small random selection. The generated range includes both endpoints. You can inspect the complete list before spinning, including values that are too small to label clearly on a crowded wheel.
Your entries
10 entriesEach die rolls independently. The wheel shows the first die; the result lists every die and the total. Keep the face entries unchanged.
Equal chance for every entry. Repeated labels count as separate entries.
How to use this wheel
- Review the preset entries and replace any labels that do not fit your number activity.
- Check the displayed entry count, duplicate lines and removal setting before starting.
- Select Spin the wheel, wait for the reveal and read the result in the dialog.
- Copy the result if you need a record, then close the dialog or start another round.
Choose the range before generating it
Enter the smallest and largest whole numbers in the range controls, then select Apply range. A minimum of 4 and maximum of 9 creates six entries: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. Negative numbers and zero are valid. The tool limits a generated list to 1000 values, so very large numerical intervals need a more suitable random-number application.
Use a custom set when the gaps matter
A range produces consecutive integers. If your game uses only even numbers, multiples of five or particular ticket numbers, edit the entry box directly. For example, the list 10, 20, 30 and 40 contains four equal options, rather than every integer between ten and forty. Check for repeated numbers because each repeated line is another eligible entry.
Match the draw rule to the activity
Leave winner removal off for independent draws, such as repeated practice questions. Turn it on to draw a sequence without replacement, such as allocating different numbered tasks. The shrinking list changes the probability of each remaining entry. When every number has been removed, the spin button becomes unavailable until you restore or add entries.
Read large wheels through the entry list
A hundred tiny printed numbers would be difficult to read on a phone. For long lists, the canvas reduces segment labeling while the entry box retains every value and the result dialog shows the selected number. Use the 1–100 preset if that is your usual range, or save your own range locally with a title that explains its purpose.
Frequently asked questions
Are both endpoints included in a number range?
Yes. A generated range from 1 to 10 contains ten integers, including 1 and 10. The number of entries is maximum minus minimum plus one. Review the entry count after applying the range if the exact size matters to your activity.
Can I generate negative numbers?
You can use negative whole-number endpoints, such as −5 to 5. That example includes zero and has eleven entries. The range controls reject decimals and reversed intervals; enter a minimum that is no larger than the maximum.
Why are not all numbers printed on a large wheel?
Dense labels become unreadable, especially on mobile. The underlying entries remain present in the edit box and retain their selection chances. The winner appears as text in a dialog, so the result does not depend on reading a tiny wedge.
Can a number appear again on the next spin?
Yes, when winner removal is off. Each spin starts a new selection from the current entries. If you need unique numbers, enable removal before drawing and make sure your starting list has no duplicate values.
