A little chance. A lot of possibilities.

Random Number 1–25

This random number 1–25 wheel starts with every whole number from 1 through 25, including both endpoints. There are 25 distinct entries, each with a one-in-25 chance before the list changes. It is useful for a five-by-five grid, where you already have a clear number-to-item mapping. Select Spin the wheel to reveal a number, or edit the range controls if your task requires different bounds. The number is selected locally in your browser; no account or uploaded spreadsheet is required.

Weighted mode: write each line as Option | 3. Weights are whole numbers from 1 to 1000. Move a single entry by cutting and pasting its line.

Saving the same title replaces that saved copy. Links include your exact entries; share public text only. Local saves can be cleared by your browser.

Equal chance for every entry. Repeated labels count as separate entries.

How to use this wheel

  1. Review the preset entries and replace any labels that do not fit your random number 1–25 activity.
  2. Check the displayed entry count, duplicate lines and removal setting before starting.
  3. Select Spin the wheel, wait for the reveal and read the result in the dialog.
  4. Copy the result if you need a record, then close the dialog or start another round.

A practical use for 1–25

Number twenty-five squares in row order. The result identifies a square for a classroom grid exercise; track used squares with removal if repeats are unwanted. If a five-by-five board has a free center, remove its assigned number before drawing occupied squares. Leaving all twenty-five labels would still allow the free center to be selected.

Understand the 25-value distribution

With the untouched preset, the chance of any particular value is 1/25, approximately 4 percent. There are 12 even values and 13 odd values in this range. Therefore an even result has probability 12/25, while an odd result has probability 13/25. Those group probabilities count how many eligible labels belong to each group; the tool does not favor odd or even values intentionally. Several repeats can occur by chance when removal is off.

Choose independent draws or a sequence of 25

Leave Remove winner off when every draw should begin with all 25 possible labels. Turn it on when each number may appear at most once during a run. After one removal, the remaining entries each have a one-in-24 chance, rather than the original one-in-25 chance. Save the full starting list before drawing a long sequence, and use Reset preset to restore it. The recent-results display is temporary and is not an exported audit record.

Change the interval without changing the meaning

The Minimum and Maximum fields define an inclusive integer interval. Apply range replaces the entry box with every integer in that interval and turns weights off. Review the resulting count before spinning. You can also delete unavailable labels manually to make a non-consecutive set, but its size then determines the odds. Shuffling or reversing the order changes the visual arrangement, not the equal chance assigned to each remaining line.

Read the numeric label literally

The result is an integer label. It does not rank the selected item, evaluate quality or infer a preferred answer. Keep your external mapping visible when other people need to interpret the draw.

Account for a five-by-five board’s special squares

Number the twenty-five squares in row order if that is the map your group uses. A center square then has a specific numeric label, but it is not automatically free or unavailable. If the board has a free center, remove its number before drawing selectable squares. Leaving it in the pool gives it the same chance as every occupied square.

A prompt grid can contain twenty-five different themes, examples or challenges. Read the selected square from your external board and keep any used-square record separately. Removal can prevent repeated numeric selections, but it does not detect a line, validate a card or enforce a particular bingo variant. Those game features need their own process and should not be inferred from the range size.

Frequently asked questions

Which label is central in a reading-order 5×5 grid?

It is 13. If you use a different numbering scheme, identify the center through your own map.

Does the wheel automatically exclude a free center?

No. Delete the corresponding number before selecting if your rules make that square unavailable.

Is this a complete bingo application?

No. It does not manage cards, winning patterns or game verification.

What is the probability of selecting one five-square row?

Five eligible labels out of twenty-five gives one-fifth, or twenty percent.
