A little chance. A lot of possibilities.

Random Number 1–50

This random number 1–50 wheel starts with every whole number from 1 through 50, including both endpoints. There are 50 distinct entries, each with a one-in-50 chance before the list changes. It is useful for fifty indexed records, where you already have a clear number-to-item mapping. Select Spin the wheel to reveal a number, or edit the range controls if your task requires different bounds. The number is selected locally in your browser; no account or uploaded spreadsheet is required.

Weighted mode: write each line as Option | 3. Weights are whole numbers from 1 to 1000. Move a single entry by cutting and pasting its line.

Saving the same title replaces that saved copy. Links include your exact entries; share public text only. Local saves can be cleared by your browser.

Equal chance for every entry. Repeated labels count as separate entries.

How to use this wheel

  1. Review the preset entries and replace any labels that do not fit your random number 1–50 activity.
  2. Check the displayed entry count, duplicate lines and removal setting before starting.
  3. Select Spin the wheel, wait for the reveal and read the result in the dialog.
  4. Copy the result if you need a record, then close the dialog or start another round.

A practical use for 1–50

Use a numbered worksheet with fifty public example records. Draw practice rows to review, and keep names or confidential data out of shared wheel labels. Fifty outcomes make small segments. The result dialog and editable list remain the readable source of truth; the canvas intentionally omits tiny labels when the list is large.

Understand the 50-value distribution

With the untouched preset, the chance of any particular value is 1/50, approximately 2 percent. There are 25 even values and 25 odd values in this range. Therefore an even result has probability 25/50, while an odd result has probability 25/50. Those group probabilities count how many eligible labels belong to each group; the tool does not favor odd or even values intentionally. Several repeats can occur by chance when removal is off.

Choose independent draws or a sequence of 50

Leave Remove winner off when every draw should begin with all 50 possible labels. Turn it on when each number may appear at most once during a run. After one removal, the remaining entries each have a one-in-49 chance, rather than the original one-in-50 chance. Save the full starting list before drawing a long sequence, and use Reset preset to restore it. The recent-results display is temporary and is not an exported audit record.

Change the interval without changing the meaning

The Minimum and Maximum fields define an inclusive integer interval. Apply range replaces the entry box with every integer in that interval and turns weights off. Review the resulting count before spinning. You can also delete unavailable labels manually to make a non-consecutive set, but its size then determines the odds. Shuffling or reversing the order changes the visual arrangement, not the equal chance assigned to each remaining line.

Read the numeric label literally

The result is an integer label. It does not rank the selected item, evaluate quality or infer a preferred answer. Keep your external mapping visible when other people need to interpret the draw.

Draw public example rows from a stable index

Prepare a worksheet with fifty uniquely numbered examples. The wheel can choose which one to discuss next, but it does not open the document or inspect its contents. Keep the index stable during the session so the same numeric label continues to identify the same example. Avoid confidential records in public demonstrations or shared configurations.

If you want ten distinct practice examples, removal can create a selection sequence without revisiting a number. The order is part of the result: the first and last chosen labels occupy different places in the sequence. Copy the numbers into your own notes before reloading. The temporary history is convenient for the current session, but it is not a durable export of the full source bank.

Frequently asked questions

Can the picker open the selected worksheet row?

No. Look up the numeric label in your own document or dataset.

How many possible values are above 25?

There are twenty-five labels from 26 through 50, giving one-half of the untouched pool.

Why does a fifty-entry circle omit tiny text?

The result dialog and editor remain readable. Printing every label around a small circle would reduce clarity.

Can I select ten unique examples?

Yes. Use removal and one copy of each number, then record ten selections separately.
