A little chance. A lot of possibilities.

Lucky Draw Wheel

The lucky draw wheel makes a simple random selection from a group of eligible guests, participants or ticket IDs. Replace the sample guest labels, review the list and spin when your group is ready. This preset begins with winner removal switched on, which is useful for a sequence of different winning entries. ‘Lucky’ describes the playful presentation; the tool does not predict luck, favor a person or change an entry’s probability based on previous results.

Weighted mode: write each line as Option | 3. Weights are whole numbers from 1 to 1000. Move a single entry by cutting and pasting its line.

Saving the same title replaces that saved copy. Links include your exact entries; share public text only. Local saves can be cleared by your browser.

Equal chance for every entry. Repeated labels count as separate entries.

How to use this wheel

  1. Review the preset entries and replace any labels that do not fit your lucky draw activity.
  2. Check the displayed entry count, duplicate lines and removal setting before starting.
  3. Select Spin the wheel, wait for the reveal and read the result in the dialog.
  4. Copy the result if you need a record, then close the dialog or start another round.

Agree who is included before the draw

Set a clear point when entries close and check the list against your attendance or registration record. First names or guest IDs are often enough for a small gathering. If the draw is shown publicly, avoid exposing phone numbers, email addresses or other private details in labels. The wheel cannot check whether a guest attended or met your conditions, so make those decisions first.

Choose an approach to multiple winners

For several separate prizes, removal helps avoid selecting the same entry again. If one guest appears under multiple identifiers, they can still be selected more than once. Decide whether your rule applies to an entry, a ticket or a person, and prepare the list accordingly. A wheel can follow the list you provide; it cannot resolve those different interpretations automatically.

Keep a straightforward ceremony

Announce the prize or purpose, show the eligible count and make one spin at a time. Read the revealed label clearly before proceeding. If a winner is unavailable, follow the redraw rule you announced instead of improvising a new rule to suit the result. A modest, understandable process is often more useful at a small event than elaborate graphics or repeated suspense rounds.

Reset carefully for the next group

A sequence of draws leaves a smaller list in the editor. Restore the page preset or load your saved master roster before using the tool for a new event. Save under a new title if the guest list has changed. Browser storage is local and can be cleared, so keep any essential registration or prize records in a separate system you control.

Frequently asked questions

Does the tool favor unlucky guests after several losses?

No. With removal off, each entry’s chance is based only on the current list and weights. Earlier losses do not create extra eligibility. With removal on, the remaining entries have a larger share because the list becomes smaller, not because the wheel measures luck.

Can I use anonymous guest numbers?

Yes. Participant IDs are a useful way to show a public draw without displaying personal contact details. Keep the mapping between identifiers and people in your own records and make sure each guest knows which identifier belongs to them.

Why is winner removal already enabled?

Many lucky draws award several prizes to different entries. Removal supports that pattern by taking out the selected line after each reveal. Turn it off if your announced rules allow the same entry to remain eligible for every round.

Can I prove an event was independently audited?

This tool does not provide independent auditing or a tamper-evident event history. You can copy results and document your process, but that is different from certified verification. Use a suitable event system if formal evidence is required.
