Random Number 1–15
This random number 1–15 wheel starts with every whole number from 1 through 15, including both endpoints. There are 15 distinct entries, each with a one-in-15 chance before the list changes. It is useful for fifteen review cards, where you already have a clear number-to-item mapping. Select Spin the wheel to reveal a number, or edit the range controls if your task requires different bounds. The number is selected locally in your browser; no account or uploaded spreadsheet is required.
Your entries
15 entriesEach die rolls independently. The wheel shows the first die; the result lists every die and the total. Keep the face entries unchanged.
Equal chance for every entry. Repeated labels count as separate entries.
How to use this wheel
- Review the preset entries and replace any labels that do not fit your random number 1–15 activity.
- Check the displayed entry count, duplicate lines and removal setting before starting.
- Select Spin the wheel, wait for the reveal and read the result in the dialog.
- Copy the result if you need a record, then close the dialog or start another round.
A practical use for 1–15
Number fifteen prepared review cards. Draw a few distinct card numbers to form a short practice set, leaving the remaining cards for another session. Fifteen values are the count of unordered pairs from six objects, but numbering those pairs requires an explicit table. The wheel does not construct combinations automatically.
Understand the 15-value distribution
With the untouched preset, the chance of any particular value is 1/15, approximately 6.66667 percent. There are 7 even values and 8 odd values in this range. Therefore an even result has probability 7/15, while an odd result has probability 8/15. Those group probabilities count how many eligible labels belong to each group; the tool does not favor odd or even values intentionally. Several repeats can occur by chance when removal is off.
Choose independent draws or a sequence of 15
Leave Remove winner off when every draw should begin with all 15 possible labels. Turn it on when each number may appear at most once during a run. After one removal, the remaining entries each have a one-in-14 chance, rather than the original one-in-15 chance. Save the full starting list before drawing a long sequence, and use Reset preset to restore it. The recent-results display is temporary and is not an exported audit record.
Change the interval without changing the meaning
The Minimum and Maximum fields define an inclusive integer interval. Apply range replaces the entry box with every integer in that interval and turns weights off. Review the resulting count before spinning. You can also delete unavailable labels manually to make a non-consecutive set, but its size then determines the odds. Shuffling or reversing the order changes the visual arrangement, not the equal chance assigned to each remaining line.
Read the numeric label literally
The result is an integer label. It does not rank the selected item, evaluate quality or infer a preferred answer. Keep your external mapping visible when other people need to interpret the draw.
Index review cards or a prepared pair table
Fifteen review cards can form a useful short practice bank. Number the cards once, keep their prompts fixed and draw a subset without replacement when you want variety. The selected number identifies a card rather than evaluating its difficulty or relevance to a learner. A teacher or organizer still decides which cards belong in the eligible set.
There are also fifteen unordered pairs among six distinct objects. If that is your activity, prepare a complete table such as A–B, A–C and so on, then number its rows. The wheel does not construct those pairs automatically or check your table for duplicates. A missing pair changes the represented pool even when the numeric selection itself remains uniform.
Frequently asked questions
Why might a six-object pair table use fifteen rows?
Choosing two distinct objects without order gives six times five divided by two, which is fifteen pairs.
Does the picker generate the pair table?
No. Prepare and check that mapping separately, then use the result to select a row.
Can I choose five distinct cards from fifteen?
Enable removal and draw five times. Copy the selected labels into your practice plan.
What is the chance of a value from 1 through 5?
Five of fifteen labels qualify, giving one-third before the pool changes.
