Truth or Dare Wheel
The truth or dare wheel selects optional truth questions and harmless challenges for a group that has agreed to play. Its eight starting prompts avoid intimate disclosures and risky tasks. Read the complete list together, replace anything unsuitable and make passing acceptable before the first spin. You can use the picker around a table, on a shared screen or during a remote gathering. The wheel selects a written prompt; it never makes participation compulsory or judges someone’s response.
Your entries
8 entriesEach die rolls independently. The wheel shows the first die; the result lists every die and the total. Keep the face entries unchanged.
Equal chance for every entry. Repeated labels count as separate entries.
How to use this wheel
- Review the preset entries and replace any labels that do not fit your truth or dare wheel activity.
- Check the displayed entry count, duplicate lines and removal setting before starting.
- Select Spin the wheel, wait for the reveal and read the result in the dialog.
- Copy the result if you need a record, then close the dialog or start another round.
Review the whole prompt pool before starting
Look through every line in the truth or dare wheel rather than discovering the rules only after a reveal. Keep questions at a level participants can answer comfortably. A favorite hobby is easier to pass around a new group than a request for a private story. For children, a responsible adult should adapt the language, read the challenges and supervise the activity. Remove anything involving danger, humiliation, spending money or unwanted contact.
Choose who answers separately from what they answer
This wheel selects the prompt. Decide separately whether the next person is chosen by seat order, volunteering or another agreed method. Keeping those two decisions separate avoids accidentally giving the same person every difficult prompt. Give participants time to think and allow a short answer, an alternative or a pass without explanation. A good session makes room for different communication styles.
Use a no-repeat round when variety matters
Enable removal if you want to work through the optional truth questions and harmless challenges without drawing the same entry again. After eight selections the starter pool will be empty; restore the preset or load a larger saved list to continue. With removal off, a repeated prompt is possible on the very next spin. Agree whether a repeat means a fresh answer, a replacement prompt or moving to the next player.
Prepare a private version and a shareable version
Save your edited prompt list locally if you want to reuse it with the same group. When sharing a wheel link, every written entry is embedded in that link. Use general questions rather than participant names or personal background information. The link reproduces the prompt list and settings, but it does not preserve a group’s answers or guarantee the same future order.
Frequently asked questions
Can someone skip a truth or dare wheel prompt?
Yes. Agree that anyone may pass without giving a reason. The selected text is an invitation, and a wheel result never overrides a person’s boundaries.
Are the truth or dare wheel defaults suitable for every age?
No single list suits every group. The defaults are gentle examples, but organizers should review reading level, context and any support needs before play.
How do I prevent repeated optional truth questions and harmless challenges?
Turn on Remove winner and include each prompt once. Selected lines leave the active pool after the reveal. Restore or load the original list when you want to start a new round.
Does Truth or Dare Wheel store responses?
No. It displays selected prompts and keeps recent selection labels during the current session. It does not ask participants to submit answers or build a response profile.
